June Paulette, You are correct in saying Savannah has an abundance of historic homes. The reason there are so many more in Savannah than most of the other Southern cities is that When the Northern armies went through cites in the South during the Civil War they burned them. When General Sherman finished his infamous \"March to the Sea\" in Savannah He spared Savannah the torch unlike all the other cities he encountered, instead giving it completely intact as a Christmas present to Abraham Lincoln.

This home is very beautiful in its'simplicity.
I am seeing for the first time- that Savannah has an abundance of beautiful Historical homes.
As usually I have visited places like Gettysburg, Pa.
I hope one day to visit Savannah.
This looks like a very comfortable home to stay in and enjoy the area.
Keep up the good work!
